ShriViral Manek

ShriViral Manek is the founder of Pure Energy Academy and the Institute of NLP India (IONI), and the creator of the DivyaShakthi system. He is the founding editor of the Vidyākośa encyclopedia project. Over a career spanning more than two decades he has worked as a trainer in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, meditation, and energy practices, and as the author of the five-volume Dasa Mahavidya Encyclopedia, a documentary survey of the ten Wisdom Mothers (Daśa Mahāvidyā) of the Śākta tantric tradition.

Background

Public profiles and interviews describe a path that moved through entrepreneurship before turning to teaching. Manek has stated that he founded and ran some thirty businesses, of which roughly ten were notably successful, before a severe business setback in 2000. He describes the years that followed as a period of intensive study — of motivational psychology, of the science of human excellence, and eventually of NLP, energy healing, meditation, and the Indic contemplative traditions. By his own account he recovered from the setback within three years, and from around 2001 he began taking on individual clients; as demand grew this work developed into structured training under the Pure Energy Academy banner.

He is a certified Master Trainer of NLP, and his teaching combines western psychological frameworks — NLP, coaching, counselling — with practices drawn from the Indian traditions: mantra, meditation, yoga nidra, astro-numero-vastu consultation, and gem and energy work. He teaches and consults in Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, and English, and is based in Mumbai with roots in Rajkot, Gujarat, where he studied at Saurashtra University.
